Lindsey Ellis Beatty is a photo stylist and interior decorator based in Birmingham, Alabama. She is the former Style Director of Southern Living and Coastal Living magazines where she developed her craft dreaming up inventive covers and story ideas, styling beautiful homes across the country, creating elaborate sets for photo shoots, and scouring markets for unique objects to fill her shoots, pages, and spaces.  With a career spanning two decades, Lindsey has worked with leading photographers, publications, and brands to create visually stunning interiors and styled environments that are vibrant and inviting. She has a particular affection for grasscloth wallpaper, breezy patterns, letterpress stationery, Louis XVI furniture, handmade ceramics, palm fronds, and anything rattan. In addition to her styling work, Lindsey offers interior design services ranging from single room space planning to full house design schemes. She loves collaborating  with clients to bring their visions to life through thoughtful design, color, and material choices. She strives to create beautifully curated, livable, and dynamic spaces that reflect personality and timeless style. After graduating from Vanderbilt, Lindsey started her career as an intern in the Food Department at Southern Living, and then was part of the launch team of Cottage Living where she was a founding editor. When she’s not working, Lindsey can be found browsing antique stores, stalking real estate, playing tennis, and updating the mid-Century home with pink front doors that she shares with her husband, three sons, and rescue dog, Mabel.
